  • Work in conjunction with our SPR Extraction Tool, STE21970 and our Al Skin Zipper, STE21892 and AL Skin Zipper II, STE21896 allows the technician to build his/her resume for aluminum repair while allowing them to provide a professional repair and not add non-productive time awaiting hydraulic tools
  • Skinning aluminum doors and working on non-structure quarter panel's technicians will be required to insert SPR's (Self-Piercing Rivets) as part of the repair process. Technician locates a spot on the flange area next the SPR you just removed to insert the replacement SPR after you have replaced the door skin or quarter panel. 2. Insert the new SPR on the magnetic end of the hex bolt, hand tighten to the flange area keeping the body of the SPR Insert tool against the door flange. 3. Install your ¾ in.; or 19mm socket to your ½ in.; impact wrench and engage, within 3-5 seconds you will see the bottom of the screw flush with the door flange.4.
